How Norene’s Farmacy Chooses Products
Norene’s Farmacy is not a supplier catalog. Just because a vendor can ship a product does not mean it belongs in the Farmacy.
1. Brand fit
The product has to make sense inside our herbal wellness and lifestyle positioning, including our Caribbean roots and global herbal perspective.
2. Evidence and claims
We review what the ingredient has actually been studied for, how strong the human evidence is, and whether the proposed product claims match that evidence.
3. Safety and interactions
We look for known side effects, allergy risks, medication interactions, vulnerable populations, and whether concentrated forms create different risks than food or tea.
4. Supplier quality and testing
We look for ingredient identity, manufacturing standards, lot-level documentation when available, certificates of analysis, contamination testing, and clear sourcing.
5. Fulfillment and customer experience
A product also has to arrive reliably, ship within a reasonable window, be packaged well, and create an experience worth attaching to the Norene’s Farmacy name.
6. Margin and future potential
Stage 1 products must make financial sense while helping us learn what customers actually want. Winning products can later move into true custom formulations or OEM production.
The rule
Evidence first. Product second. If the evidence, quality, compliance, or customer experience does not hold up, the product does not get a stronger sales story just because it is available.
